'Thin Client' is the generic term for centralised servers (typically in a datacentre or in your server room), being connected to by dumb terminals or PCs via a low bandwidth connection - meaning that all the computing power is primarily central.
Typical examples of mass market thin client technology are Microsoft Terminal Services or Citrix "Access Essentials" or "XenApp".

Backing up your data
